Which data is synchronized?

Orders with their detailed line items (SKUs, taxes, discounts, shipping costs, multi-currency), refunds converted into credit notes, customers, products and payment transactions. With Shopify Payments, payouts and their fees are synchronized as well.

How are settlements and bank reconciliation handled?

When an order is paid, the matching invoice is automatically marked as paid in your invoicing software. With Shopify Payments and a compatible tool such as Pennylane, each payout can then be reconciled automatically: bank transactions are found or created, then matched with the corresponding invoices and credit notes.

Is the payment method visible for each order?

Yes. For each order we retrieve the payment gateway (Shopify Payments, PayPal…) and the payment method used (credit card, Apple Pay…) when provided by the platform. This information is visible in Order Invoicer on every order.
